The fish soup is a recipe of the Italian tradition that is really popular and loved both in the Northern and Southern Italy. If it was once considered a humble dish conceived with the intention to save fish waste, nowadays it can also be served as a gourmet dish with a variety of selected seafood. Nevertheless, the recipe sort of remains the same: you have to boil seafood with different cooking time in a broth of tomato soup or in water with small pieces of tomato and then season it with Mediterranean traditional scents: garlic, onion and optionally parsley, laurel or chilli pepper. It is a simple recipe that requires long preparation times.
